Sandy Vergano serves as the Executive Managing Director, Legal, Investments, Credit & Lending at Berkshire. In his position, Sandy is responsible for managing all legal aspects of transactions executed in the Credit and Lending Fund Series, including investments, financings and securitizations. Sandy also oversees the activities conducted by Berkshire’s affiliated Special Servicer, MF1 Loan Services LLC.

Prior to joining Berkshire, Sandy served as General Counsel and Head of Asset Management at Limekiln Real Estate. During his tenure at Limekiln Real Estate, Sandy was part of the MF1 launch team, helping to grow the business from a start-up into a market-leading bridge loan platform. Sandy’s previous experience includes positions at Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo and Redwood Trust.

Sandy received a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania.
