Focused on stabilized Class A apartment communities. These investments can include modest capital improvements, operational efficiencies, and lease-up strategies.

As a successful debt investor, the firm leverages its vertically integrated equity and property management platform, decades of experience owning and operating multifamily assets, and the expertise of its investment professionals across the United States.

Through several debt investment vehicles, Berkshire provides exposure to high‑quality multifamily credit, including agency debt securities (Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae), select preferred equity and mezzanine investments, and a market‑leading private lending platform.

Credit Investments

Berkshire’s Credit Fund Series focuses on the acquisition of multifamily debt securities, including the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae multifamily securitization programs.

Private Lending

Market leader of transitional U.S. multifamily lending, the Private Lending Fund Series supports the investment activity of the MF1 platform, a partnership between Berkshire Residential Investments and Limekiln Real Estate.

Berkshire Multifamily Credit Fund IV

Berkshire Residential Investments (“Berkshire”) announced the successful final close of Berkshire Multifamily Credit Fund IV, L.P. (“CF IV” or the “Fund”), raising $1.86 billion in commitments, exceeding its target fund size. This represents the largest fund in the series to date.

Berkshire Bridge Loan III

Berkshire Residential Investments (“Berkshire”) and Limekiln Real Estate (“Limekiln”) announced the successful final close of Berkshire Bridge Loan Investors-MF1 III, L.P. (“BBLI III”), raising $1.99 billion in commitments. This represents the largest commingled fund in the series to date.
