Russell Avery serves as the Executive Managing Director, Capital Markets, Investments, Credit & Lending at Berkshire. In his position, Russell is responsible for overseeing all capital markets activity for both the Credit and Lending Fund Series, including trading, securitization, financing, pricing and structuring.

Prior to joining Berkshire, Russell served as Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, Trading and Structuring at Limekiln Real Estate, where he had similar responsibilities for the Berkshire lending portfolio as part of the MF1 joint venture. Prior to joining Limekiln Real Estate, Russell served as Managing Director, Head of Trading and Structuring within the CMBS group at Greystone, and as a Director on the CRE primary trading desk at Deutsche Bank.

Russell received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. Russell is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
