Michael Squires serves as Senior Managing Director and Head of Production for MF1 at Berkshire. In his position, he leads the firm’s loan origination activity and manages a team of 20 producers and loan production professionals.

Prior to joining Berkshire, Michael served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Production at Limekiln Real Estate. He helped grow the firm from six to 45 professionals and played a key role in increasing loan production through its MF1 joint venture to $32 billion. He was directly responsible for more than $12 billion in floating and fixed-rate loan production, including the firm’s only SASB transaction.

Earlier in his career, Michael held roles at Rialto Mortgage Finance (NYSE: LEN), CIBC World Markets, Citi Global Markets, and M&T Bank.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment from NYU.
