John Roach serves as the Executive Managing Director, Co-Head of MF1. In addition to being responsible for Portfolio Management for Berkshire’s Lending Fund Series, John is jointly responsible for overseeing the strategy, operations, and investment in multifamily debt for MF1 and the Lending Fund Series.

Prior to joining Berkshire, John served as Senior Vice President and Market Manager at U.S. Bank. During his tenure at U.S. Bank, John managed loan originations for the Bank’s Boston and Washington, D.C. offices. John’s 20+ years in real estate has also included time at PNC Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

John received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Accounting from Mercyhurst University. He currently serves as the President of the Real Estate Finance Association (RE&FA) in Boston, MA.
